We didn't build this site to play nice. We're not here to reinvent centrism or make you feel calm while democracy is being auctioned off. We're here to report what's actually happening, even when it sounds insane.

We called it ClownWorld because that's what it feels like: a surreal descent where the absurd becomes policy, and cruelty becomes a punchline. But this site isn't nihilism dressed as news. It's not ragebait that treats pluralism as a threat or freedom as a punchline.
